DEWA Approval Process

1. Appoint a DEWA-Registered Electrical Engineer

• Engineering consultants and registered engineers hold the exclusive authority to file applications at DEWA.

2. Online Application Submission (Getting NOC)

• Users need to apply online from the DEWA e-Services portal by providing proposed load information and single line diagrams (SLDs).

3. Technical Review by DEWA

• DEWA evaluates all submitted materials against electrical load constraints while inspecting both water consumption standards and safety requirements.
• The applicant can request revisions when the system does not conform with standards.

4. Provisional Approval (NOC) Issued

• DEWA provides a No Objection Certificate (NOC) as the result of review procedures for electrical and water connection authorization.

5. On-Site Work Execution

• The approved contractor executes electrical and water connection works according to designed specifications.

6. Inspection Request & Final Approval

• A site inspection request by DEWA becomes necessary after all installations finish.
• The connection approval gets issued by DEWA after confirming that the site complies with established standards.

Requirements for DEWA Approval

8. Load Distribution Schedule – The Load Distribution Schedule presents the distribution method for circuit loads.
